This order sat on my cart for more than a week. $15++ for a single item that does 1 thing is a want that i was not able to click on submit order on an impulse. Thanks to the reviews and photos, it helped me push that button. Now, time for me to aid those who are also on the fence about buying this.I thought this was made of silicone, to my surprised it is a made of hard plastic. My initial thought was how will I be able to removed the fondant from the small crevices that makes the "happy birthday"? Immediately, I was skeptical that this is going to work. Didn't wait for a day, i had to try this. I have leftover fondant that i'm pretty sure had expired ages ago (decided not to throw this and use it to practice just like now). Opened the package, read the instructions( since the fondant is not to be consume) I did't bother to wash this. Instructions was as simple as it can be. It didn't say to put on anything on it to avoid fondant sticking to it so I did how it tells me how to use it.My photos are my 1st and 2nd attempt. Forgot to take picture of the unpainted embossed that i decided to make the 2nd for reference on how it look in its organic state. I did struggle on the 1st on how to lift the mold and use a small angled spatula and this left an indention on the fondant. On my 2nd try, I accidentally push a little more pressure on the top of the circle while I was rolling the pin and this lifted the bottom part a tad, enough for the spatula to go in the "air space" and press on the mold upward instead of coming into contact with the fondant. It was still not perfect but it was better than the 1st. I used smaller circle cutter than the mold itself to remove the tiniest indent on the circle it left. And to be honest, if one is to use this as cupcake topper, going smaller will fit the cupcake more accurately(just an assumption at this point but excited to actually try this)At this point, I can't say how this is going to hold after repeated use. For now I am satisfied how eye candy this will be on anyone's edible creations. This specific cursive style is my favorite of all fonts. I'm actually going to look into this seller for stamp for new baby and weddings coz you can't put a cheap price on a well crafted item.
